CHDM is a precursor to polyesters. It is one of the most important co-monomers for production of polyethylene terephthalate (PET), or polyethylene terephthalic ester (PETE).

Applications
CHDM is a precursor to polyesters. It is one of the most important co-monomers for production of polyethylene terephthalate (PET), or polyethylene terephthalic ester (PETE).

Solubility
Miscible with water, glycolether and ketones.

Notes
Store in cool place. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Store away from strong oxidizing agents, water, moisture.
