For sample collection and storage of precious samples including DNA, blood, cell lines, and tissue

Twist-Lock Tube Racks

  • Patent pending internal thread design “locks in” with the cap in two distinct positions, providing robust 100% sealing down to -196°C
  • Twist-Lock™ caps are moulded out of a proprietary material which seals more even tightly at cold temperatures
  • Lockable racks comply with SBS guidelines and have reduced heights to maximize available freezer space
  • All components cleanroom produced
  • Suitable for storage at -20°C, -80°C and in vapor-phase liquid nitrogen
  • Caps can be applied and removed from tubes while in the rack; easily handled with Twist-Lock Cap-It or Twist-Lock Tool
Grid Referenced Racks
  • Tube base features alphanumeric grid reference corresponding to tube position in the 96-format rack, facilitating sample tracking and identification
  • 2DCypher SmartScan Tube Racks
    • Encapsulated 2D Matrix™ code on each tube base provides robust sample management and tracking; all codes guaranteed to be unique
    • 0.5mL tubes: Tube working volume 450μL when capped (400μL recommended when freezing)
    • 1.0mL tubes: Tube working volume 900μL when capped (810μL recommended when freezing)
