Thermo Scientific™ Pierce Centrifuge Columns provide exceptional convenience, speed and performance for many types of small to medium scale affinity purification procedures.

Additional Information and Online Ordering

Pierce Centrifuge Columns are convenient tools for chromatography experiments involving 40μL to 10mL of beaded agarose or other affinity matrix. The columns are made from low protein binding polypropylene for compatibility with antibody and other protein purification, and they fit into standard centrifuge tubes for use in any centrifuge. Simply add the affinity resin to one of the-polypropylene columns, remove the twist-off bottom and allow the beads to settle to form the resin bed. Process sample by gravity-flow, then use a centrifuge to efficiently wash and elute purification products from the column.

Pierce Centrifuge Columns can be used in either spin or gravity-flow format. The spin format reduces sample processing time and makes column washing and elution more efficient. For gravity-flow procedures and when slow processing time is desired for binding steps with dilute samples, Column Extenders can be used to increase the column reservoir capacity. Use any combination of processing techniques to get the best possible chromatography results!
